What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the inhalation or topical application of plant oils, called essential oils, to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Essential oils are the pure essence of the plant—often referred to as nature's living energy—and can provide both psychological and physical benefits when used correctly. Essential oils can be used on their own for aromatherapy or with complementary natural ingredients, such as vegetable or carrier oils.
How Can Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oils Help Me?
When practicing aromatherapy, it is vital that only pure, undiluted essential oils are used. Synthetic, perfume-grade products lack the necessary level of beneficial constituents and offer little or no positive effect.
When an essential oil is diffused, it's inhaled and processed through the olfactory system, which then sends the therapeutic benefits of the aroma to the brain. Depending on the specific constituents in the oil, you may begin to feel the release of negative emotions, the soothing of undue muscle tension, or experience the cleansing effect of the oils as your body eliminates toxins. The oils have also been shown to help:
- Relieve stress, calm tensions and promote relaxation
- Boost your mood, energy and stamina Improve your concentration and alertness
- Achieve peaceful sleep
- Ease muscle tension and joint discomforts
- Boost your confidence and positive attitude
- Ease digestive discomforts
- Accelerate the healing of minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises
- Boost your immune support
- Elevate the mind and improve your spiritual connection
What Is Raindrop Technique?
Raindrop Technique is a powerful, yet gentle and non-invasive procedure that combines the science of aromatherapy with energy healing techniques to restore balance, health, and vitality to the body. It works on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels, clearing physical, mental, and emotional blocks, bringing about deep relaxation and rejuventaion, and opening the receiver to the possibility of deep healing.
How Does It Work?
The technique uses therapeutic-grade essential oils that have been shown to be mood elevating and antiseptic and create an unfavorable environment for harmful viruses and bacteria that can hibernate in the body. The oils are known to boost stamina and energy, help you relax, help manage stress and promote overall health, vitality, and longevity.
The oils are dispensed in little drops from a height of about six inches above the back. They are then massaged along the spine and back muscles and applied to the feet. The process takes about an hour and may continue to work in the body for up to one week following a Raindrop session, with possible realignment and bodily adjustment taking place during this time.
Reported Benefits Include:
- Spinal Health: Raindrop has been shown to realign the spine, alleviate pain (particularly related to sciatica and scoliosis), reduce inflammation, relax the nerves and muscles, and stimulate tissue regeneration. Spinal measurements indicate elongation by up to 1" post-raindrop.
- Detoxification: The technique has been shown to stimulate the body's natural detoxification processes by increasing circulation, stimulating lymphatic drainage, and detoxifying organ tissues through increased delivery of oxygen and nutrients to cells.
- Immune Support: The technique has been shown to stimulate the body's natural healing response by eliminating invasive pathogens (including chronic bacterial and viral infections, fungal and yeast overgrowth), boosting the immune system, and supporting and restoring hormonal balance.
- Emotional and Mental Well-Being: The technique has been shown to enhance deep relaxation and rejuvenation, supports the release of emotional patterns that no longer serve us, and clears blocks to progress.
